Solar generators
H2P is developing with DGA (Direction Generale de l’Armement) a solar generators solution which can produce electricity twenty four hours a day.
The product uses mirror solar cells that concentrate the rays on a miniaturized receiver (provided by the CEA). The flow of air to be heated passes through this hotspot. This temperature controlled heated air flow is used in the H2P engine.
The system implements exactly like the other H2P modules, leveraging the economy of scale from a wider production.
A prototype has been deployed with a view to starting production from 2022. The first complete units (10 kWe generator) will be integrated in a 20ft container. It will be made of mirrors, frames, trackers, a generator, and the H2P engine. The target deployment time is half a day.
