We are currently developing a 10 kW dish CSP power unit with the financial support of the “Direction Générale de l’Armement”, the French Government Defence procurement and technology agency.
The first prototype has been completed in 2017 and we will start testing it in real operating conditions in a French military base by spring 2018.
Using H2P engine to convert solar radiation into mechanical and electrical power will significantly reduce the levelized cost of energy resulting from CSP generation.
Thanks to economical and high performing thermal storage solutions, the H2P dish CSP unit will provide a reliable and dispatchable energy cheaper than conventional power generations and photovoltaic plus chemical batteries.
